A Quarter Century of Quality Vendors and Events

"Without great vendors, a show is nothing." That was the rule in 2001, and it has not changed since.

Bob Ashley of ECO Publishing and Brian Potter of Chicago Reptile House founded NARBC in 2001 to class up the reptile expo experience, from both a vendor and an attendee perspective. The idea was simple enough: treat every vendor as a partner rather than a booth number.

The shows run in St. Louis and Tinley Park and are among the best places for the public and breeders alike to meet many of the world's top reptile breeders face to face.

The rule has never changed: captive-bred, healthy, thriving animals only. What you see on the aisles is years of disciplined breeding, and sometimes a whole lifetime of it. We hope you leave with a new animal, or at least a deeper respect for the ones on the tables.

The Most Important Booth at Every Show

USARK was created after a meeting called by NARBC's founders that took place in Chicago, attended by many of the industry's leaders who came together to form a vision, a direction, and a board that has become the leadership the industry always lacked.

NARBC has been at the forefront of the industry since 2001. USARK is the past, present, and future of the reptile industry. NARBC stands arm in arm with USARK, and is very proud of this accomplishment and the success of USARK.

The United States Association of Reptile Keepers defends the right to keep these animals in Congress, in statehouses and in courtrooms. Our Saturday-night benefit auction sends 100% of proceeds to USARK. Stop by their booth at any show and get educated on why it matters.
